Hey Kings! It's been a super exciting, jam packed week for me! Just wanted to share my outfit when running to deliver the "Cana Plaid Shirt" to a customer! If you haven't already gotten yours, YOU NEED IT!

I'm wearing an Oak tee, R13 harem jeans, Jac Vanek shirt jacket, and BBC Bee Line Timberlands. I accessorized with my Louis Vuitton vintage bag, Celine sunnies, Givenchy vintage necklace, and Celine, Louis Vuitton, Alex&Ani, and Pandora bracelets.

Givenchy NYFW 2015 - 9/11

On September 11th, I was able to attend Givenchy's first fashion show here in New York City at Pier 26 at North Moore Street in Tribeca. The experience was great, and I'm happy that I was one of the few people able to experience the collection first hand:

There was amazing live music filling the space, and the Freedom Towers illuminating the sky set the mood perfectly. Attendees were dressed in so many different styles which was also great to see. Many guest celebrities experienced the show with me. Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, and Anna Wintour, to name a few. 

I wore an Adriano Goldschmied silk top, R13 drop crotch jeans, Helmut Lang throwover, Celine slip-on sneakers, and a Louis Vuitton clutch. I accessorized with my usual Louis Vuitton and Celine bracelets. I added my Givenchy vintage necklace for the night. Throughout the show I wore my Celine sunglasses as well.

Overall, it was a great experience. SO glad I was able to be apart of it.

Transition Your Closet

Hey Kings!

I have so so SO much to share with you all but I have been SUPER busy. So much has happened in the past month! If you aren't already following me on Instagram (@kingdes) follow me now!

I will keep you guys updated on all the cool stuff that has happened, but FIRST -

I wanted to make a couple outfit grids, as requested.

I used to shop without thinking about how I was going to use these pieces all year round, which caused me to spend so much money. NOW, I try my best to shop smarter and I want you all to do the same. I've done a couple outfit grids, showing you how to wear pieces that you may even have now, all year round. The same outfit you wear with sandals, you can take and throw a jacket over with some heels and it creates a brand new look! You've just gotta play!

Don't be afraid to turn an oversized shirt into a dress, or a flannel shirt into a skirt! Play with your pieces, and when you're shopping ask yourself, "What do I have that's already like this", or, "What can I wear this with that I already have". The opportunities are endless!

Alexa Chung X AG Jeans Private Event

So I'm super excited to share these pictures with you guys from the Alexa Chung x Adriano Goldschmied private event that I attended last Thursday. I got a sneak peak of the line, got to buy pieces before they hit the stores AND got to meet Alexa! Leandra Medine (manrepeller.com) attended the event as well and did a little Q&A with Alexa on her new line!

I haven't blogged ALL WINTER. I spent it complaining about how I wanted to blog again, lol. For everyone who's still keeping up with it, I love you guys!
